Choose from these Great Indoor Heaters

"These indoor heaters fit any home perfectly!"

There are so many different types of indoor heaters. With all things considered, it’s safe to say that they’re mostly designed to be used outside. After all, isn’t that where you’d want to be if you were cold, in the comfort of your home (or even an office)? Therefore, companies like Hamilton, Reznor, Rinnai, Beacon Morris, Trane, and Maxx have come up with several different options for you to choose from in order to help you warm up the best.

You’ve probably noticed all the different types of heaters as you’ve made your way through different houses. Those long, thin ones pressed up against the wall are baseboard models. They’re designed to warm up a larger area. You’re certainly familiar with portable desk top heaters, which sit there and keep you warm while you’re getting your work done. Other types include radiant style heaters, which are designed to only heat objects, rather than the air around them. This is beneficial because you’ll use a lot less energy and end up having to pay less money by not trying to warm the air.

It’s important to think about which type will be the most energy efficient. After all, you want to be able to run the unit without having to worry about how much you’re paying for it, don’t you? If this is true, then look into a solar powered unit. They’re much more efficient than typical natural gas or kerosene units. They may be more expensive upfront, but you’ll spend a lot less heating yourself in the long run. There are also very efficient electric models that plug right into your wall. Some people even use them purely as a towel warmer.

Don’t worry too much about trying to figure out how many BTUs (British Thermal Units) you need, because that won’t really help you. Just try to get the one that is designed for your application. Because even if a heater has 45,000 BTUs, that won’t do much good in a freezing cold industrial warehouse. But it will be incredibly hot in your home.
