You’ve probably noticed all the different types of heaters as you’ve made your way through different houses. Those long, thin ones pressed up against the wall are baseboard models. They’re designed to warm up a larger area. You’re certainly familiar with portable desk top heaters, which sit there and keep you warm while you’re getting your work done. Other types include radiant style heaters, which are designed to only heat objects, rather than the air around them. Because even if a heater has 45,000 BTUs, that won’t do much good in a freezing cold industrial warehouse. But it will be incredibly hot in your home.
